Fairy Godmothers of Tennessee enthusiastically welcomes donations from individuals, schools, clubs, youth groups, retail stores, manufacturers… if you have a dress that is new or lightly worn, we are eager to match them up with young ladies! Dresses must be fewer than 5 years old and in good condition.

Far too often, formal dresses are just worn once and then relegated to the back of the closet, never to be enjoyed again, except as a token of nostalgia.  Throw open those closet doors and allow your dress to have a second chance to shine!  Remember how that dress made you feel on your special night, and think how it can work the same magic for another, less privileged teen.

Fairy Godmothers will also accepts monetary donations to help defray the costs involved in our community awareness efforts and events. Fairy Godmothers of Tennessee is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization and all donations will be appear on statements for tax purposes as Fairy Godmothers of Tennessee.

organize a dress drive

If your school, club or organization is looking for a service project, look no further. Organizing a dress drive is easy and fun! Contact your friends, school mates, neighbors, even recent graduates from your school who may have a well-loved, but lightly used, dress hiding away. Once all the dresses have been collected, contact Fairy Godmothers of Tennessee to arrange for pickup of shipping. Contact us in advance to help promote your event on our news page and via Facebook.
